Experience

Dr. Sofer received her doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College in Erie, PA. She completed her General Surgery residency and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Michigan State University of Osteopathic Medicine at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Outreach

Dr. Sofer is active volunteering her time to surgical mission trips with Operation Medical. Performing cleft lip repairs and reconstructive surgeries for those in need in places like the Philippines, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, and Kenya.

Your Consultation

Our staff has created a consultation process to address customized procedure plans personally tailored for you.

OPEN COMMUNICATION

During your initial consultation, Dr. Sofer will provide you with information about the procedures and, equally as important, she will allow you and she to establish a relationship so that she understands your concerns.

EXPECTED RESULTS

In addition to discussing your cosmetic procedures in descriptive terms, Dr. Sofer may do some drawings or use other methods to communicate information in visual terms. We will also share with you before-and-after photos, as well as provide you with past patients, who can share their personal experiences with you.

INFORMATION

Dr. Sofer will also examine you, learn about your desires and goals, discuss your particular case, listen, educate and support you in making your decision with an informative process.

PLANNING

A further discussion of your treatment plan to include costs, fees, and the financial policies of The Center for Cosmetic Surgery will also be provided, as well as numerous financing options.  Finally, you will be given a complete tour of our facility.
